Plum Island Coffee and Creamery is a coffee and ice cream shop located in a small seaport in Newburyport, Massachusetts. The colors and simple lines create an elegant composition while the smiling whale and humorous sayings add a playful touch to the design. The whale reflects the location of the café, Plum Island, which borders the Atlantic Ocean where whales reside. The clean shapes and patterns and limited amount of colors, blue and white, add a sense of serenity and peace, or how one would feel on a beautiful day by the sea.
